Copas allegedly shot the driver in the head with a "silver and brown gun" before the vehicle crashed into road barriers and came to a stop on US-54 close to Loop 375. The incident didn't take place close to a bridge, port of entry, or any other area with urgent danger, according to police charges.

Daniel was merely adhering to the Uber app's route.

Copas snapped pictures of the bloodied and hurt man before dialling 911 to get assistance from the authorities.

Copas' unnamed boyfriend drove her there to be picked up, and when police came, they say he was assisting her get out of the car.
