According to Frasier's comments, three persons are likely responsible for Dr. Jackson's death, according to Roseburg, Oregon-based CBS affiliate KPIC. "We think Reina Jackson is undoubtedly one of the people who contributed to the death. We haven't been able to figure out who the other two men are as of yet, but they are both male.

Craig Jackson's family offered a reward for information leading to his conviction for murder; his classmates had warm memories of him. Elana Crane, CEO of the Bay Clinic, was quoted as saying, "He was an important person in our community," by the Coos Bay-based CBS station KCBY.

He had lots of patients. His clinical health was excellent. He did excellent work. He shared ownership of our practise. You understand that nobody can ever be replaced. You develop coping mechanisms for loss, which is where we are right now. In a sense, Reina Jackson was a suspect from the start. In the news statement from last week, Frasier stated that the defendant's nationwide arrest warrant was issued "shortly after" his ex-husband was killed.

After the crime was done, he's thought to have left the country and gone back to his native Guatemala. She and Dr. Jackson were going through a divorce. The separation was concluded... I'm talking about 2016-2017," the prosecutor said to KPIC. But there were still problems with the kids' custody. When Reina Jackson left Guatemala on her own free will and returned to the United States, the Coos County prosecutor's office prepared to submit a formal extradition request to Guatemalan authorities, the prosecutor told KPIC.

She flew back to the country 'seemingly unaware that there were warrants out for her,' according to Frasier, and was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia. "A fugitive complaint was filed by Atlanta authorities. He'll show up in front of her in the Atlanta courts. On June 14, the accused was taken into custody. Reina Jackson has not yet been charged and is being detained in a jail in Atlanta while awaiting extradition to Beaver State.

According to the prosecutor's office, the investigation into the deceased doctor's ex-wife took place over the course of nearly two years and involved a task force made up of no fewer than 12 different agencies. The North Bend Police Department took the lead role in the investigation. When the defendant left Coos County in 2021, she was further detained on a warrant for allegedly breaking the terms of her probation.

According to Frasier, the charge cannot be made public until after her indictment, at which point "it is considered secret." The prosecutor stated that he had nothing more to say about the matter. An unnamed neighbour expressed his pleasure with how the Dr. Jackson murder case was progressing. They said to KEZI, "I'm glad they found her, I really am." "I was interested to see people searching the area for evidence because they claimed they had never left a murder unexplained. They also said that it might take some time. And I'm happy that they were able to.
